Originally constructed in 1907, the Hotel Palomar was opened in 1999 after a two year seismic retrofit of what was previously an office building. The building’s classic and distinctive exterior facade features green terra-cotta tiles on the upper seven floors and brown terra-cotta tiles on the lower two floors.
