Position Overview
The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for sales reporting, internal commission computations, broker dealer/RIA support, CRM maintenance, financial reporting, implementing external reporting initiatives, preparing external and internal presentations, assisting in technical accounting research, and implementing policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
All areas of responsibility listed below are essential to the satisfactory performance of this position by any/all incumbents, with reasonable accommodation, if necessary. Any non-essential functions are assumed to be other related duties.

  • Coordinate daily, weekly and monthly sales reporting.
  • Maintain commission spreadsheet and tracker reports for Sales Team, Executives and National Accounts.
  • CRM and Sales Connect reconciliation and maintenance.
  • Broker dealer/RIA support, selling agreement setups, research and correspondence with transfer agent
  • Coordinate, collect, challenge and understand financial information so that issues are resolved and financial results are properly recorded and presented.
  • Prepare month-end and year-end Balance Sheet & Income Statement variance analysis
  • Assist with technical accounting research and documentation, as necessary.
  • Assist in monthly analysis of financial results.
  • Gather supporting documentation for audits.
  • Gather supporting documentation for tax preparation.
  • Assist in annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting preparation for multiple properties/entities.
  • Assist in preparing internal and external financial reporting presentations.
  • Assist in drafting and maintaining internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Assist in special projects and other duties as needed.

Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Minimum 3+ years of Corporate Accounting, combination or equivalent work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university;
  • Basic knowledge of the financial services and real estate industry is preferred.
  • General knowledge of various accounting software and advanced knowledge of all MS Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Workiva.
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license is not required, but preferred.
