Shannon Snell

Shannon Snell serves as the Chief Legal Officer of Griffin Capital Company, LLC. Prior to joining Griffin Capital, Mrs. Snell was a partner at the law firm of Allen Matkins Leck Gamble Mallory & Natsis, where she represented real estate private equity firms, developers, and investors in the purchase and sale of billions of dollars of real estate in markets across the country, including the acquisition of T-Mobile’s headquarters for $470 million and other significant transactions. Mrs. Snell has also represented landlords and tenants in leasing millions of square feet of space, including a $200 million, 360,000-square-foot lease for Tesla’s R&D facility in Palo Alto, CA.

Mrs. Snell received the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Outstanding Young Lawyer Award in 2023 and has been recognized as a Southern California Rising Star by Super Lawyers since 2020. She has lectured at Pepperdine University Business School and the nation’s top brokerage firms on acquisition and lease negotiation tactics and has been published in business and trade journals.

Mrs. Snell graduated from Bucknell University magna cum laude and UC Law San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) magna cum laude.
